Asun (Spicy Meat) Recipe


  • 1 kg Goat Meat
  • ½ cup Coarsely Processed Scotch Bonnet Pepper
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 cup Chopped Green Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Seasoning Powder
  • ½ tbsp Salt
  • 1 cup Water


  • Debone goat meat
  • Grill goat meat, till it’s almost cooked (medium rare)
  • Allow meat to cool, then cut into bite sizes and set aside
  • Pulse scotch bonnet pepper coarsely, add seasoning powder and salt and mix and set aside.
  • In a pot, pour meat, add water, place on the stove and cook for 5-10mins covered
  • Add chopped onions and green peppers and stir
  • Add salt and pepper mix in batches
  • Stir and cook covered for 2mins
    Its ready!
