Chimichurri Sauce

This is an uncooked sauce of argentine origin that is used both as an ingredient in cooking.

It’s also a table condiment for grilled meats, poultry, fish or roasted sausages, a staple in this sauce is parsley.

Other seasonings varies from Country to Country. It is a good sauce for marinades (blasting), as a side, in hamburgers called Chimichurri (It is a hamburger topped with coleslaw and sauces).

And whatever catches your fancy in need of that zing!

Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

Course: Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Big bunch flat Parsley
  • ½ cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • 10 cloves Garlic
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • ¾ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Red Onion
  • 1 tsp Oregano optional

Instructions

  • Pulse Parsley and Garlic in a food processor or blender.
  • Add all remaining ingredients and blend.
  • Pour in and jar and refrigerate when not in use.
